Reporting to the Performance and Quality Manager, a talented individual is sought to support the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective project management structure within the Contracts team. In addition, the post holder will support achievement of KPIs set out in quality schedules and CQUIN agreed with commissioners by supporting operational teams.

The successful applicant will be required to provide high quality and efficient administrative, performance and project support, coordinating the production of reports that will evidence the Trust’s quality requirements and CQUIN targets set out within the contract.

A self-starter, you will have excellent word, excel and organisational skills with a proven understanding of performance management. Knowledge of the NHS would be an advantage. You will also be pragmatic and have the proven ability to communicate effectively.

- To support performance and quality improvement of CQUIN schemes in a timely manner meeting all required deadlines.
- To provide administrative support to the contacts team and support the coordination of quality schedules outlined in the Trust contracts
- To provide support to the Performance and Quality manager to enable the delivery of a programme of change in the Trust.
- To provide analytical support to CQUIN scheme and Quality schedules aligned to commissioning contracts.
- To lead the co-ordination and delivery of meetings, workshops and conferences involving Trust staff, external stakeholders-Service users, their families and carers.

- To actively support achievement of the national Commissioning for Quality and Innovation indicators (CQUINs) with internal and external stakeholders ensuring they support an innovative and quality driven approach, facilitating ambitious, yet realistic improvements to maximise both financial income and quality delivery.
- To support the performance and quality manager with reporting Quality schedules aligned to commissioning contracts.
- Support the Care Groups, programme and CQUIN clinical leads in the development of strategy to deliver the CQUINS designing and delivering service changes and developments with a Trust wide impact.
- To manage, and maintain credibility with all the key players within the Trust, fostering a culture of collaboration for the delivery of equitable, high quality care.
- To ensure that the CQUIN initiatives works collectively with other Trust departments to support the Trust’s strategic priorities
- Ensure the Trust has appropriate policies and procedures in place to support Quality Improvement
- Prepare and present highly complex information to groups in the Trust. This may involve overcoming barriers to understanding and/or where expert opinion differs.
- Work creatively, with autonomy and as a member of a team with both Trust colleagues and external stakeholders to deliver quality requirements.
- To ensure all standards are met in a timely and professional manner to protect the reputation of the Trust at all times
- To identify, analyse, monitor and manage risks and issues and escalate them when necessary to the CQUIN lead and/or CQUIN programme Manager
- Liaise with operational management on related projects to ensure that key interdependencies are managed effectively and that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated.
- Ensure projects have a robust and valid business case and that this business case is reviewed in light of major changes to the project.
- Ensure projects have clearly defined benefits and that there is a robust plan to monitor and achieve these benefits.
- Work closely with project sponsors to ensure they give and receive the support required to enable effective project delivery.
- Provide leadership of the project management process, including delegated budget management for cost improvement programmes.
