Finance Business Partner

High profile Finance Business Partner responsible for FP&A, reporting and business support for Capita’s growing businesses within Education Programmes.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, Education Programmes, this role will suit an ambitious, highly numerate, and commercially astute Newly-Qualified Accountant who wants to gain further experience in business partnering and support a business with ambitious growth plans.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Perform monthly forecasting and annual business planning processes for a portfolio of education businesses
- Perform month end including producing weekly flash, month end and business review reports
- Perform and take full ownership for the integrity and accuracy for the business unit P&L and Pillar balance sheet
- Own working capital and cash for your area, providing accurate forecasts monthly and ensuring tight control of work in progress & debt
- Liaise with the Division / Group teams (consolidation, tax, audit and reporting teams) and respond to ad-hoc and routine queries on time
- Business partner for the Education Programmes team, including providing client profitability, overhead analysis and ad hoc support and challenge
- Business partnering with client team over forecasts - implement process improvements to increase forecasting accuracy
- Liaison with auditors and responding to audit queries
- Provide bid support and smooth integration of new wins from a financial control perspective

**What we’re looking for**:

- Newly-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)with excellent technical and systems skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively
- Ability to influence decision making process through clear presentation of financials
- Experience of working with an offshore team to tight deadlines
- FP&A and business partnering experience
- Experience of working capital management, including understanding of the end-to-end billing and cash recovery cycle
- Experience of SAP
