**12 months Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Opportunity with the possibility for extension**

Ealing is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced EHC Coordinator to join the SEN Assessment Service team.

We are looking for people with good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice 2015, Children and Families Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.

As part of this role, you will have your own caseload and will be responsible for the daily management and administration of statutory processes, including EHC Needs Assessment and annual review for children and young people with special educational needs.

You will be actively involved in working in partnership with families to improve their experience of the process.

You will also work in collaboration with early years’ settings, schools and colleges and professionals across education, health and social care.

We need individuals with excellent communication and analytical skills, who are resilient, empathic and good team players.

This is a highly demanding role but you will be working in an experienced and supportive team and have many opportunities to extend your skills and experience. Continuous professional development is actively encouraged.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016
