**Finance Operations Analytics and Optimisation Lead**
**Hybrid working (Either Corby, UK or Warsaw, Poland)**

As the Finance Operations Analytics and Optimisation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. Your primary responsibility will be to streamline operations, pinpoint process inefficiencies, and identify improvement opportunities by analysing key data metrics and KPI data.
This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders across the business. You will be at the forefront of challenging existing processes and methodologies, aiming to uncover positive outcomes and drive transformative change.
**What you will be doing**:
- You’ll be managing and driving the performance and productivity measures in GSBS operational functions with a focus on automation, process efficiencies andissue resolution whilst communicating progress to relevant stakeholders to improve our financial performance.
- Collaborating with essential stakeholders and garnering their support to develop effective action plans aimed at enhancing performance.
- Deep dive analysis of data - identifying trends and non-compliance in a smart, simple, scalable way, advising potential solutions, defining root cause and solutions via small change, training or software updates and enhancements.
- Extracting data from systems such as SAP, Business Objects, Readsoft and Sidetrade then utilising that data and analysis tools to extract insights and recommend solutions for improvement.
- You’ll also review invoice approval management to provide governance and feedback to business stakeholders regarding the approval process and payment on time metric.
- In addition to the above, you will also be a go-to person for AP/AR system projects. For example;
- Benchmarking AP/AR automation performance internally and externally sharing best practice and exploring upgrades or alternative software options
- Ensuring robust incident resolution and ensuring system Business Continuity Plans are in place.
- Customer EDI/ Portal onboarding and testing, working with the B2B teams to identify and drive effective usage of e-commerce platforms, coordinating resolution of outstanding, reported issues.
- Coordination of testing creating test scripts and maintaining test SAP data within AP and AR
**What we are looking for from you**:
- 2 years on hand experience of SAP AP/AR, Read soft or similar invoice automation systems and statement reconciliation.
- Strong IT/Financial Systems, Accounting and Analysis skills gained working in a fast-moving, service driven environment - potentially as a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Systems Accountant or Systems Implementation Accountant
- Experience of handling and manipulating large datasets
- Advanced MS Excel skills and experience.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Great stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.
- The ability to prioritise tasks to achieve challenging targets while maintaining quality
- The ability to adapt positively to a changing process environment
- Strategic thinker with insight into implications on cost and productivity
- Flexible with working hours to meet business needs and collaborate with colleagues across the globe.
