Our Care & Support Division at The Guinness Partnership specialise in services for the elderly and those with learning disabilities. We provide great person-centred service to enable our customers to live positive, independent lives.

**About the Role**

The purpose of this role is to provide a housing management service to Guinness sheltered housing and care customers. You will be developing successful customer relationships and providing a quality customer service which reflects our service style; warm and friendly, make things easy and get things done

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist prospective customers to view properties, explain services and assist new customers to settle into their accommodation
- To assist in tenancy management matters; ensuring existing and new customers understand their rights and responsibilities in accordance with their tenancy agreement.
- To aid access to correct housing benefit assistance or financial advice to pay rent/service charges.
- Carry out periodic site inspections and tests to ensure scheme is fully operational and health and safety compliant and to be responsible for monitoring the quality of contractors providing services on scheme
- To respond and report any evidence of on-going disputes amongst customers
- Respond to any emergencies that have been raised through Guinness housing colleagues

You will be based at our scheme** in Broadoak Court in Manchester, **you will need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as you may need to travel between schemes to cover when necessary.

**What we are looking for**:

- A people centred individual with fantastic customer service, perhaps previous experience of working with the elderly and proven ability to foster a spirit of co-operation and sense of independence within this group
- Previous experience of carrying out administrative tasks with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must hold a current UK Driving Licence and have access to own vehicle
