**Role Description
As Head of Financial Reporting, this role will be an important member of the EposNow Finance team, with responsibility for all internal and external financial reporting processes and outputs.

**Key Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end reporting cycle across the group, from developing the timetable to the conclusion of all deliverables
- Producing commentary on performance vs prior month, year, and forecast/budget
- Holding cost centre reviews and monthly meetings with key business stakeholders
- Produce monthly reporting decks for internal executive team performance reviews and for external stakeholders
- Balance sheet management with monthly reviews and sign-off of reconciliations
- Manage group’s year-end audit process and is a key contact person in managing day-to-day queries with auditors
- Timely closing of month end, completeness and accuracy of results.
- Timely presentation of results to Execs.
- Timely presentation of results to external stakeholders.
- Delivery of year-end audit within planned timing.

**Key Skills
- Qualified ACA or ACCA.
- Good accounting knowledge and experience gained in financial accounts/ reporting roles.
- Hands-on experience of the month-end close process, from Day 1 to production of management accounts and reporting.
- Good current knowledge of accounting standards/ IFRS’s;
- Understanding of typical and best practice internal financial control environments, eg for Sox compliance;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced finance team with strict deadlines and demanding internal stakeholders;
- A robust personality, able to cope with a steep learning curve, and a long to-do list, in a business with lofty ambitions.
