Outreach & Digital PR Specialist

Dandy Marketing are a rapidly growing Digital Marketing Agency that are redefining the meaning of a "transparent" agency. In line with our continued growth we are now looking for a proactive and ambitious SEO Outreach & Digital PR Specialist to join our remote team and support the growth of our clients’ organic presence. Whilst you will have the complete support of the two founders and other team members you will be given a high level of autonomy to spot what needs doing and get the work completed whilst communicating the what and why. We are looking for like-minded people that have a genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, and have the curiosity and desire to continually learn and develop. If hired you will be expected to carry out a range of link building strategies for a range of clients. This can include as is not limited to, Digital PR campaigns, broken link building, guest posting and more. Ultimately, you should be able to expand our client’s digital footprint and brand awareness. As our SEO Outreach & Digital PR Specialist, you will play a fundamental role in developing and delivering upon our client’s link building strategy. **ABOUT THE ROLE** You will be reporting directly to the two founders of the business and play a vital role in the overall growth of the agency, and driving results for our clients. You should have at least 2 years experience working in a similar role with an understanding of effective link building and outreach techniques. Your duties will include, but not be limited to: - Securing various feature opportunities for a range of clients - Implementing various link building strategies - Developing and implementing digital PR strategies for a range of clients - Promoting client content through clever outreach methods - Creating content for a wide range of industries with SEO in mind. - Support the team to help grow clients organic traffic through content marketing and SEO activities that are well planned and executed. - Identifying and managing outreach to relevant journalists and digital publications when required. - Working to demanding deadlines to ensure content delivery for link building content. - Supporting the overall team with SEO activities to help improve clients organic visibility. - Proofreading and editing copy should come naturally to you, and you are able to support other members of the team to ensure the highest calibre of content. **ROLE REQUIREMENTS** - A familiarity with link building concepts and strategies - Can provide examples of previous link building efforts - Understanding of the importance of link building and what makes a good link. - An ability to self-motivate whilst working remotely - An ability to curate and write content across a huge variety of industries. - An understanding of client requirements and an ability to learn and understand their business. - Great copywriting skills. - Strong research skills. - An ability to come up with original ideas. - Editorial requirements include good SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. - Excellent communication skills via digital and telephony channels with the rest of the team. - Time management. You know how to budget your time and move your schedule around to get the important things done. - Collaborative communication. You can give constructive feedback to colleagues and are open to receiving feedback as well. - Proactive. You like to achieve, and don't wait for others to tell you what to do or give you permission to do something great. **IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL** - Previous in-house, agency or remote work experience. - Experience with the Gmail suite (gmail, gdrive etc) - Experience with ASANA project management tool. - Hands on experience using Ahrefs, BuzzSumo and other SEO tools - Understanding of web publishing requirements
