An exciting opportunity for a Facilities Admin Assistant has become available to join our growing team here at Gear4music. Predominantly based at our Holgate site, this is a multi-site role with time split between our modern Holgate offices and our impressive Clifton Moor distribution centre.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a budding facilities management professional to gain valuable FM exposure in a fast-paced commercial environment. The role involves coordinating with our Maintenance Manager, operational teams and senior stakeholders to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing facilities while delivering a high standard of compliant buildings management.
**Responsibilities**
- Facilities coordination for corporate offices, warehousing and distribution environment to ensure compliant buildings management
- Making informed decisions in line with the commercial interests of the business from a health & safety perspective
- Ensuring that all health & safety, fire safety and facilities regulations are maintained to high standards
- Completing day to day administration tasks
- Liaising with other members of the team and contractors when needed
- Appropriate Health & Safety and FM Qualifications
- Good broad knowledge of facilities systems and best practices
- Strong administration skills with an eye for detail
- Ideally IOSHH Managing Safely or Working Safely or CSCS card
- Talented at communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Accurate organisational and planning skills
- Willing to learn and take on a wide variety of tasks
- Ability to respond quickly to problems
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player mind-set and can do approach with willingness to ‘muck in’ when required

- You must have eligibility to work in the UK
- As this position is multi-site, you must have a clean, valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
