Corporate Governance Analyst - Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR/SMR) Analyst - AVP
Venn Group are partnered with a bank in the City of London seeking to maintain and improve upon existing SMCR documentation and as such are recruiting for a **Corporate Governance Analyst** to ensure that regulatory obligations are adhered to and that the bank continues to meet the regulatory bodies’ standards.

We are looking to speak with individuals with an exposure to the **SMCR regulation** who can prepare reports and **documentation** for Senior Management Functions (SMFs), make improvements to the existing responsibilities map, and provide guidance to internal staff on the implications of certain regulatory trends or obligations inherent in each position.

Further to the regulatory implementation of the **Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR/SMR)**, financial services firms have continued to both uphold and make advancements to their existing frameworks, optimising the way in which theymanage responsibility and accountability. As such, this bank is aiming to recruit this contractor on a long-term, rolling basis in order to maintain their current and future book of work.

A background working in Compliance and/or Regulatory environments within a financial services firm(s) would be highly advantageous in this role, as it would allow the role-holder to efficiently identify and escalate issues, whilst communicating key informationpertaining to regulatory documentation accurately.

Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this position as individuals will be required to prepare briefing notes and presentations for senior management/board/committee meetings.
