**Senior Care Assistant (Nights) - Part Time - **The Grove Care Home in Waltham, Grimsby, Part of The Country Court Family**

**Hours: Nights 22 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 1900 - 0700)**

A well-established part of the community in Waltham and a well-respected care home in the Grimsby area, The Grove provides residential and specialist dementia care in a warm, family-led setting. The dedicated staff led by Kelly the Manager understand that everyone is different and take time in getting to know each resident individually, so they can settle into a comforting, enjoyable routine.

**ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE**

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

- Helping our residents with personal support and care,
- Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
- Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
- Serving meals/drinks and assisted feeding
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining care plans

**ABOUT YOU**
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents. Having those care values is vital to share a happy home, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
- Be no stranger to working night shifts
- Have a friendly & caring attitude.
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
- Great communication skills, both written & verbal.

**Covid Safety**
We operate COVID secure homes and have strict procedures in place to ensure the safety of all residents and staff. This includes regular Covid & temperature testing and wearing appropriate PPE, including a face mask to be worn at all times whilst on shift, unless medically exempt.
