**Night Care Assistant -The Grove Care Home in Waltham, Grimsby, Part of The Country Court Family**

**Hours: Nights 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 1900-0700)**

The Grove is a well-established part of the community in Waltham and a well-respected care home in the Grimsby area, It provides residential and specialist dementia care in a warm, family-led setting. The dedicated staff led by Kelly the Manager understand that everyone is different and take time in getting to know each resident individually, so they can settle into a comforting, enjoyable routine.

**ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT (NIGHTS) ROLE**

Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

- Helping our residents with personal support and care
- Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
- Serving meals/drinks and assisted feeding
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

**ABOUT YOU**

Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents. Having those care values is vital to share a happy home, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Be no stranger to working night shifts
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have good written & verbal communication skills
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
- Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.

**Covid Safety**
