**Care Assistant - Nights**

**33 hours per week**

**You will be required to work a flexible rota pattern which includes weekends and Bank Holidays**

**£10.42 per hour (age 23 and over) £10.18 per hour (age 21-22) £7.49 per hour (age 18-20)**

Fairways Care Home is a subsidiary of Care Plus Group. Fairways is committed to improving the health & social care for some of the most vulnerable people within North East Lincolnshire.

Located on Little Coates Road in Grimsby, the service provides high quality Residential and Dementia care for older people. The aim of the Care Home is to provide each resident with care and support in a comfortable and safe environment with a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Our staff are selected for their positive and sensitive attitude and must endeavour to offer the best possible care and support, as part of agreed planned needs which focuses on the promotion of independence and control for the individual.

We are looking for motivated and committed individuals to join a multi professional team. You need to enjoy working with people to achieve their goals and aspirations in life. Although challenging, working with this vulnerable client group can be very rewarding giving opportunities for you to develop and enhance skills in working in a person centred way to enable individuals to conquer barriers they may face.

You must have at least one year’s experience working in a health and or social care setting providing personal care support to individuals.

You will be required to follow the direction of a shift lead and follow health and safety guidance to good effect.

Essential requirements for the role are:

- Experience in moving and handling.
- Effective communication skills.
- Understanding of promoting independence.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good record keeping skills.
