We are looking for patient and caring individuals who are able to support our young people through their challenging circumstances and work with them to build their resilience and independence. **Responsibilities of the role**
*Supervise and monitor the safety of children inside the home and community.
*Prepare meals and organise mealtimes and snacks for children.
*Help children keep good hygiene.
*Display yourself as a positive role model
*Promote a positive attitude, resilience and empathy
*Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day/night that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe.
*Promoting positive behaviours and outcomes.
*Taking young people on activities, education, appointment and family visits.

**Driving License essential** - role requires staff to take young people to appointments/meetings and activities.
**Minimum age 21**:

- Regulations for the business require that staff have a minimum age gap between them and the young people we care for.

- QCF qualifications as your role develops

There is also excellent future prospects for further development and progression into management roles within the business.
As part of the role a DBS check will be carried out on all applicants as required by law. (We will fund this)

**Please let us know if you're signed up to the DBS update service (this will be re-embused to you yearly)**

**Flexibility needed**as shifts will include days, waking nights and weekends.

Shifts are as follows
- Days - 07:30 - 20.00
Nights - 19.30 - 08:00

Average of 43.75 hours per week.
