Primary Care Information Support Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly enthusiastic hardworking individual to join a successful team with a long standing reputation for delivering a high standard service to local GP practices and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).

The role of the Primary Care Information Support Officer is to co-ordinate and undertake regular data extractions and reporting in line with requirements and timescales, contributing to the delivery of the established GP data provision service delivered by the Cumbria PRIMIS Informatics team.

**Main duties will include**: running searches/reports on EMIS to extract data from GP practices; manipulating and analysing data for various requirements; understanding and identifying associated data quality issues; presenting information in a clear and appropriate reporting format; plus data input into national reporting systems where necessary. The post holder will also provide a general administrative support function for the PRIMIS Informatics team.
