A great permanent opportunity for a part time Payroll Specialist position. Looking for 25-30 hours per week ideally over five days but negotiable.

**Description**

The duties include:

- To review, develop and improve the payroll processes and controls to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the monthly payroll submission.
- Take responsibility for the in-house elements of our payroll, including the processing of new joiners and leavers, monthly payments, and any pay element adjustments.
- Maintain records to ensure any deductions are inputted correctly.
- Ensure that payroll approval processes are adhered to at all times.
- Ownership of payroll and pension queries start to finish, liaising with the HR Team as required.
- To undertake monthly pay audit checks ensuring accuracy and that variances are reviewed and corrected before the payroll sign off (BACS payment approval).
- Assist with month end journal postings for all payroll components.
- Maintain Real Time Information (RTI) processes and reporting.
- Monitor HMRC for updates.
- Produce P11ds as required.
- To manage and oversee the auto-enrolment into the company pension scheme and support the management of pension submissions.
- Assist as required with the administration of the company benefits scheme.
- Assist as required with additional ad hoc Finance and HR related administration.

**Profile**
- Have experience in a similar payroll position - Essential
- Be up to date with UK payroll legislation - Essential
- Have excellent communication and organisation skills - Essential
- Be confident using MS Excel - Desirable

**Job Offer**
