Proclinical are recruiting Quality Control Lead for a pharmaceutical industry. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Ulverston. Our client is focused on abetting patients who suffer from illnesses live longer and better lives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take charge of an analytical team.
- Produce and support documentation, methods, procedures, protocols and reports to settled targets.
- Responsible for setting up stability studies, designs and reviews to maximise the business benefit and scientific comprehension created from the stability protocol design.
- Distribute analytical support to projects and offer technical knowledge as a member of project teams or otherwise.
- Head investigations into uncharacteristic or out of specification results and aberrations from quality procedures to verify root cause and complete operative corrective and pre-emptive actions.
- You will support regulatory change activity and submissions.
- Guarantee consistent self-inspections of the area are performed and attend as a main point of contact to support internal and external audits.
- Warrant that equipment is upheld and standardised following permitted procedures and responsible for instrument qualification to GMP (Installation, Operational and Performance Qualifications).
- Handle resources and initiate continuous improvement, observing and measuring output, understanding workload and resource utilisation.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Educated at least to a degree level or equivalent in analytical chemistry.
- Preferably educated to a degree level or equivalent in analytical chemistry and empower CDS.
- At least 5 years of experience in a GXP lab or technical setting.
- Previous technical knowledge and experience of a wide range of analytical tactics.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, Quality Compliance, method/equipment validation, QMS and Regulatory expectations.
- Be computer literate and have great documentation skills. Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of data management, data integrity and data handling systems.
