CK Group are recruiting for a Quality Control Manager, to join a global pharmaceutical organisation at their site in Cumbria (Ulverston) on a 3 year fixed term contract.

**Location**:
This role is located in Ulverston and is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Ulverston is a fine market town in the centre of the Furness peninsula, with old buildings and a labyrinth of cobbled streets, and is the start of the 70 mileCumbrian Way.
The Role:
To manage the Analytical team covering the analytical testing of samples derived from raw materials, intermediates, API, stability samples

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of an analytical team
- Create and approve documentation, methods, procedures, protocols and reports to agreed targets.
- Ensure regular self-inspections of the area are performed and serve as a main point of contact to support
internal and external audits
Your Background:

- Degree qualified in Science or equivalent
- Proven leadership skills with minimum of 5 years’ experience in a GxP lab or technical environment.
- Technical knowledge and experience of a broad range of analytical methodologies.
- Knowledge of GMP, Quality Compliance, method/equipment validation, QMS and Regulatory expectations
