**What You'll Be Doing**
As our Junior Office Administrator, you'll be involved in a variety of tasks to ensure our office runs smoothly. Your main duties will include:
- Organising and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Managing office supplies and equipment to keep everything stocked.
- Handling incoming calls and correspondence with a professional and friendly manner.
- Performing accurate data entry and maintaining meticulous records.
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping using **Xero** (full training is provided).
- Coordinating office activities and operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Utilising **Google Suite** for various administrative tasks.
- Conducting essential clerical duties like filing, typing, and copying documents.
Once you're settled and fully trained in your core administrative duties, you'll also have the opportunity to expand your role by:
- Booking jobs in diaries for our engineers.
- Providing holiday cover to help manage the day-to-day running of our service and repair engineers.
- Developing your problem-solving skills by dealing with issues as they arise, with support from your line manager.
**Who We're Looking For**
**Ideally, you'll have**:
- **Some office experience**: This could be from an internship, part-time job, or even volunteer work - any exposure to an office environment will be beneficial.
- **Comfort with computers and common software**: You'll be using programs like **Microsoft Word**, **Excel**, and **Outlook** daily, so knowing your way around them is important.
- **Strong organisational skills**: Even in a busy environment, you'll need to manage your tasks and keep files tidy.
- **Confident and clear communication skills**: You'll be answering phones and speaking with colleagues, so good communication is key.
- **A willingness to learn new software**: If you haven't used specific accounting software before (like Xero), showing you're eager to learn new systems is important.
- **Accuracy and attention to detail**: You'll be responsible for entering information and keeping records up-to-date, so a keen eye for detail is crucial.
- **Educated to GSCE or equivalent**(preferred)
