Training is provided by Platform One to give an understanding of Consumer Duty and how you can embrace this by meeting our own internal standards, values and behaviours, resulting in an excellent service being delivered to our customers.
**About the role**
To administer and support Platform One Pensions business in accordance with regulatory requirements, agreed service levels and departmental objectives. You will be the first port of call for our clients pensions queries.
**Your Key Responsibilities**:
- Acting to deliver good outcomes for our customers by following the Consumer Duty rules and guidance set by the FCA and our own internal core values and behaviours.
- Provide business support to the Pensions department.
- Manage daily post into the pension team, scanning and printing when needed.
- Setting up new accounts with our bank.
- Banking client monies when required.
- Daily bank transaction import.
- Liaising with our clients via telephone.
- Management of incoming queries via mailbox.
- Logging workloads for the pensions team.
- Assisting with administrative support when required.
- To ensure all requests received from clients and IFAs are processed within regulatory timeframes and meet business partner Service Levels.
- Ensure that work is administered to required standards and individual training needs are identified.
- Support project and IT initiatives promoting automation and product neutral efficiency gains where appropriate.
- Work in conjunction with Portfolio Manager to implement cost containment initiatives.
- Ongoing Compliance with company policies, rules and regulation.
- Comply with documented departmental policies and procedures and encourage others to do so.
- Assisting the Pensions team with core tasks.
- Act as a conduit for upward communication and feedback to Pensions Team Manager.
- Contribute to process reviews, constantly seeking ways to streamline and improve.
- Maintain good business relationships with internal and external customers.
- Take responsibility for own development, initiate your own Personal Development and achievement of objectives and key results.
- Take responsibility for individual tasks and know when to refer to others.
- Ensure that all work performed is to the deadlines and standards set by the Pensions Team Manager and Service Level Agreements.
- Achieve and maintain competence.
- Any other reasonable requests from senior management.
- Where risks are identified to ensure these are documented and reported to line manager.
- To ensure own Training & Competence (T&C) and performance management records are accurate and up to date.
- To ensure that our customers are treated fairly and receive a consistent service in line with Platform One TCF policy.
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Eagerness to gain knowledge of Consumer Duty FCA principle 12.
- Eagerness to learn the regulatory requirements affecting Pensions and Platform One business.
- Demonstrates strong team working skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Good verbal, written and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
