HR Officer required on a full time and permanent basis to join a very busy manufacturing company in Wolverhampton.
You will work with 1 other HR Officer and the Head of People, to provide a comprehensive HR service to the business. The company is currently going through a period of growth and HR are updating and implementing new systems, policies and procedures. This isa great opportunity for a HR generalist to join and make a real impact and drive process improvements.
As a HR Officer you will be responsible for:
Providing Managers with an end to end recruitment process
On-boarding new starters
Assist with updating policies and procedures
Providing advise and guidance to managers
Conducting disciplinary, grievances sickness and capability meetings
Monitor staff absence, probation and recruitment data
Assist with HR Projects
Be the first point of contact for HR enquiries
**Experience**:
CIPD L 5 qualified
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of handling disciplinary and grievances, performance management
A good understanding of employment law
Competent with Microsoft packages
Managing recruitment and on-boarding of new employees.
This role will require some travel within the midlands, therefore you will need a driving license
The role is office based
