**£23,452 per annum, 33 hours per week** (£12.00 per hour + £55 per week for sleep-ins)

**Shift Pattern**:

- 12-hour shifts, between 8 am to 11 pm

Active Pathways Ltd is currently recruiting compassionate Support Workers to join **Brook House** in Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team, ensuring that the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.

**Our Ideal Support Worker Will**:

- Have knowledge and understanding of Mental Health diagnoses, Learning Disabilities, and/or Autism.
- Appreciate the importance of person-centred care and promoting independence.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience working in challenging environments, particularly with individuals facing issues such as suicide, self-harm, or mental health crises.

**Desired Experience**:

- Supporting individuals in activities of daily living, including social, recreational, and occupational activities, and helping young people engage in the community.
- Collaborating seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.
- Promoting positive practices in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Mental Capacity within the service.
- Experience working with individuals who have mental health needs or challenging behaviours, such as self-harm, eating disorders, epilepsy, schizophrenia, or personality disorders.
