**Job Title: Project Delivery Lead - Midlands Regional Nuclear Skills Hub**
**Working Pattern: 37 hours**
**Working location: Derby**
A new role for a Project Delivery Lead - Midlands Regional Nuclear Skills Hub has arisen within the Engineering & Technology function within the Rolls-Royce Submarines business. This is a unique opportunity to support the delivery of the National Nuclear Strategic Plan for Skills (NNSPS) for the benefit of Rolls-Royce and the broader Midlands region. Key to the success of the NNSPS is the establishment of “Regional Hubs” that provide focal points of delivery and the opportunity to adapt to a region’s particular challenges around nuclear and related skills. Hubs are operational in the North-West and South-West of England and in Scotland, led by Tier 1 industry sponsors. The Midlands Hub was launched in November 2024 with Rolls-Royce as the prime sponsor.
Regional Hubs bring together stakeholders representing industry, learning providers and relevant local, regional and national groups to enable collaboration with established regional bodies to support the delivery of skills in the regions; gathering of regional skills insights to support workforce planning and demand; improving training and accessibility and strengthening the pipeline of skilled workers to ensure the right talent is available where it is needed most.
In this role you will report directly into the Midlands Regional Nuclear Skills Hub Strategic Lead and will work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to help drive the skills investment needed to help Rolls-Royce and the region realise its future nuclear ambitions. The scope of this role is very broad and so you will have a fantastic opportunity to develop your knowledge, skills and professional network.
