**Marketing Assistant - Ocean World Travel Est 1995**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Marketing Assistant, working as part of a small, dynamic team within an award-winning travel agency. The role is to assist the growth of cruise sales following the pandemic. You will oversee the new website which Ocean World Travel is building and develop a marketing plan to achieve sales targets. You will report to the Director and work closely with our travel industry partners such as P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.

Ocean World Travel is a highly respected cruise and travel specialist and was established in 1995.

There will be opportunities to travel, visit cruise ships and to cruise.

Key duties
- Follow current OWT processes and owning all criteria from our key cruise partners.
- Ensure all assets are submitted in a timely manner to facilitate the smooth launch of existing and new campaigns
- Update the website with new campaigns and offers.
- Assist with marketing plan to promote each cruise line and OWT.
- Suggesting, trialing and implementing new marketing initiatives.
- Checks on website to ensure correct product image and product description prior to launch and ongoing
- Creating direct mail pieces.
- Preparation for events and shows. Liasing with partner cruise lines.
- Working closely with Director to demonstrate the success of marketing initiatives to meet sales targets and strive to exceed these by maximising and creating opportunities.
- Monitor sales / key lines and assist Director to provide forecasts & feedback

**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly, effectively, and professionally at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while paying strict attention to detail.
- A confident demeanour and ability to thrive in a busy, team-orientated environment.
- The ability to use own initiative when there is ambiguity.
- High level of accuracy required.
- Good working knowledge of a MAC

Working hours: 2 Days per week 9:00-17:00 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch break

Type: Part-time, permanent

**Salary**: £10,000 - £12,000 depending upon experience

Schedule:

- 7.5 hour shift

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £9,600.00-£11,200.00 per month
