Accounts Assistant

With a healthy forward workload, an opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy accounts team.
**This opportunity will be a 12 months fixed term contract for maternity cover. There may be the opportunity to extend this.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing high volume of invoices, matching the invoices to PO’s and GRNs
- Processing site paperwork, including POs & GRNs
- Dealing with site queries
- Processing weekly supplier payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Use of excel spreadsheets for upload/reporting purposes
- Microsoft office efficient, priority on excel & outlook
- Variety of other finance duties as and when required
**Skills & Experience**
- Experience of supporting a busy accounts office
- A good general understanding of purchase ledger/sub contract and payroll processes
- Be methodical and organised
- Good telephone manner
- IT Literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
