**Digital Marketing Coordinator (Maternity Cover)**

Our SPAR convenience stores are more than just a local shop and as a member of our marketing team, you will have a really important role to play in promoting our brand, our products, our stores and those of our independent retailers.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join the team as a **Digital Marketing Coordinator** (Maternity Cover) at our head office in Saltash, on a contract of 35 hours per week. You will take responsibility for our Social Media pages to grow awareness of our brand and offer, increasing visits to stores.

**Primary responsibilities will include**:

- To co-ordinate the communication of business activities on digital platforms. To improve and develop the use of Social Media and other digital platforms amongst our company owned stores and retailers, and increase the online presence of SPAR across the South West.
- To create and post content across all our digital channels directly and via our CMS platform.
- Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and coordinate any paid digital marketing activity for Appleby Westward and with SPAR UK and relevant Agencies as agreed.
- In collaboration with the AW Media Hub Partnership Manager and Marketing Campaign Manager develop tactical initiatives to grow retail sales and income from suppliers
- To update and amend content on our website.
- Experience of using various Social Media channels in a commercial environment, preferably knowledge of using Meta Business Suite and Google platforms. Previous experience using a Content Management System would be beneficial.
- Demonstrable planning skills to coordinate multiple projects, delivering to deadlines
- Ability to use standard Microsoft Office Software, experience using Adobe or other creative software packages would be favourable.
- Experience managing and updating websites would be beneficial.
- Good, creative written communication skills with attention to detail.
- An outgoing, inquisitive personality.
