Are you an Event Management graduate seeking valuable experience to strengthen your career prospects? Would you relish the opportunity to be involved in the planning and delivery of a world-famous major cultural event? Are you passionate about creating sustainable events?
You’ll work with a small dynamic team and develop communication skills as you liaise with internal and external colleagues, departments and suppliers. You will assist with the day to day running of the festival, including admin tasks such as recording, filing and minute taking. Celtic Connections is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of the festival so you’ll be responsible for analysing the festival’s current activities and researching ways to make the festival sustainable. You will need to have excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills.
The CGU Internship Fund was established thanks to £200,000 of philanthropic support from Sir Alex Ferguson CBE. To date over 65 new graduates have benefitted from the fund with more than a quarter leading to permanent roles. Unlike many other internship programmes, you will receive the living wage, ensuring you are appropriately rewarded for your hard work.

In return we can offer a generous holiday allowance of 29 days (rising to 34 days after 5 years), plus 6.5 public holidays.
