You will have a drive for accuracy, excellent organisational and communication skills to correspond with a wide variety of internal and external contacts. Excellent time management and commitment to high standards is important for this role.
You will have at least 2 years’ bookkeeping experience and will also:
- Be competent in the accounting processes up to Trial Balance.
- Have a sound understanding of Profit & Loss and Balance sheet accounts.
- Have excellent computer skills.
- Have exceptional attention to detail.
- Be highly organised and able to work to deadlines.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and in a team.
Role Overview
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Match purchase orders with invoices
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis
- Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances.
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns.
Location and Hours:
Position can be based at either the Hereford or Ludlow office. If Ludlow is the base will require some training days in Hereford initially and also occasional working in Hereford with notice.
