We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for an Interim Digital Communications Officer
- Social Media

You will liaise on Westminster digital communications as the social media channels lead, supporting media relations team, campaigns managers and community engagement with their social media strategies and content creation.

You will act as expert advisor on social media and digital communications including:

- Administrator for Westminster City Council main corporate social media accounts: Facebook Business Page, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat.
- Content creation including creating social posts, overlaying image with text, creating social media video, annotating video, making gif and boomerangs.
- Advising communications on light social media strategy to deliver business objectives
- Provision of analytics in reports or to Monitoring and Evaluation Teams
- Internal coaching of comms professionals
- Business as usual strategy and execution across Westminster Corporate Profiles

Key skills, experience and behaviours
- Experience of creating or contributing to social media strategy in line with business objectives
- Working knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva / Hootsuite and social media platforms including insights and analytics
