**Finance Assistant**

The Manor House Hotel (Okehampton) Ltd is a well-established hotel business on the edge of Dartmoor. We are the UK’s leading Sports and Crafts Hotel and currently the worlds’ 9th largest golf resort.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the company is seeking to employ an accounts assistant into our finance team, having ideally already completed AAT Level 3 or with significant relevant work experience.

The company employs over 270 members of staff over two hotel locations (which are only a couple of miles from one another).

Job Description / Duties
- Reconciliation of daily cash/income takings
- Guest deposit reconciliations
- Bank & Cash reconciliation
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Posting Accounting journals and maintaining supporting schedules
- Assist the Finance Manager with preparation of Management Accounts. Monthly/Weekly
- Helping to prepare monthly/quarterly regulatory returns
- Support the Finance Manager with budget/forecast analysis and sales analysis.
- Answering general accounting queries both internally and externally
- Providing general support to the wider finance team.
