**Retentions & Credit Control Executive**
**Salary**: up to £26k Basic (28k OTE) dependent on experience
Location: Altrincham
37.5 hours per week
**Where do you fit?**
You will be joining our growing accounts team based in our friendly offices in Altrincham. You will play a key part in the day-to-day functioning of the finance office.
**Key responsibilities**:
⦁ Daily B2B Credit control
⦁ Collecting customer payments via telephone and card terminal
⦁ Responsible for and reporting of debtor collection rates
⦁ Reviewing refund requests and issuing where approved
⦁ Identifying bad debt, issuing pre-action protocol letters before passing debt to legal partners
⦁ Work closely with the Retentions & Credit Control Manager to ensure all Cancellation & Credit Control processes are being followed in line with service line agreements.
⦁ Support the individual Retention teams, ensuring they are in line with service line agreements for chasing debt, passing to the legal team and/or closing the order.
⦁ Communicating with clients who have cancelled their direct debit and/or have missed payments, ensuring service complaints are escalated accordingly.
⦁ Following the Legal process and resolving any responses received.
⦁ Support the US credit control process, as well as potential future increased requirements of Credit Control and Retentions processes due to growth plans within the US.

⦁ Current month failed payment collection %
**Technical/Qualifications/Experience**:
⦁ Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
⦁ Strong IT and Excel skills
⦁ Excellent attention to detail
⦁ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
⦁ Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
⦁ Analytical - ability to analyse and summarise data as and when required
⦁ Retention/Sales experience - desirable
