**Bookkeeper - Head Office**
?This Finance Team is expanding due to growth and development of their organisation.
They are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their busy finance team at the head office based in the heart of Salisbury.
As a Bookkeeper you will be processing payroll information including pension contributions and other company benefits, processing and payment of expenses through purchase ledger, petty cash and the administration of the sales reports and generation of invoicesand credit notes.
This role as Bookkeeper will be blended working 2 days in the office and 3 days home based working on a full time basis, Monday to Thursday 9am -5pm and Fridays 9am -4.30pm.
Your Key Responsibilities in this role as Bookkeeper are:
- Payment of staff expenses on 15th of a month and last working day of the month
- Submissions to HMRC within statutory timeframes for payroll reporting
- Submission of pension information within the 3 days of payroll processing
- Generation of sales invoices/credit notes within 48 hours of receipt of information
- Weekly reconciliation of the sales report by Friday 4.30pm
- Monthly reconciliation of designated petty cash accounts within 6 working days of the month end
- Additional support to team as and when required
- Assistance with the annual audit

For this role you will need to have:
- Knowledge of Sage financials is preferable
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent with a grade C or above in Maths and English
- IT literate - with a sound knowledge of Excel
- Good Analytical Skills
