Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a childcare company based in Salisbury. This is full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper:
- Dealing with monthly staff expenses and maintain all payroll records
- Process data into payroll system and generate payments to employees on designated payroll dates
- Dealing with submissions to HMRC within a timescale for payroll reporting
- Submissions of pension information within payroll processing
- Generate sale invoices/ credit notes within a certain time frame of report of information
- Weekly reconciliation of the sales report at the end of the week
- Monthly reconciliation of designated petty cash accounts at the end of the month
- Assist with the annual audit and additional support to the team when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper
- Knowledge of Sage is desirable, but not essential
- Competent computer skills, especially in all Microsoft Office packages
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Happy to undertake a DBS check

- Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 17:00pm and Friday 9:00am - 16:30pm
- Hybrid working - 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

- Salary is between £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
