**Brief Role Description**:
We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support our growing Kit Room team. This exciting opportunity requires a motivated, focused and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic to help us support many of the biggest feature film and TV productions based in the UK.
This is a warehouse-based role, working within a physical storage environment, with an even mix of administrative and physical work. The role requires a hands-on approach with experience of maintaining equipment and keeping accurate and orderly records.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Support and cover the Operations Warehouse Manager when required and in their absence
- Support the Kit Room team and cover when required
- Ensure company objectives are adhered to through the work of the Warehouse
- Address and record failures whilst supporting changes to procedures, where necessary
- Follow Warehouse schedules and routines whilst communicating changes to the Operations Warehouse Manager
- Assist in the planning and delegating of the daily/weekly priority process within the Warehouse
- Assist co-ordinating warehouse/departments technical queries
- Maintain and assist the Check-in team with database/stock inventory update and M&D
- Ensure good housekeeping within the Warehouse and specific departments
- Various stock take checks when needed
- Barcoding new equipment/stock and reassigning when necessary
- Ensure the safety and maintenance of the Warehouse by doing minor internal maintenance
- Oversee the safe transport and maintenance of vehicles - Oversee the organization, maintenance and housekeeping of loading bays including the load/unload of equipment
- General maintenance, spot checks, storage handling and organization
- Stock rotation, safety of warehouse systems, understanding warehouse racking systems, tools and equipment storage, PAT testing
- Support and collaborate with Kit Room Administrator with the monitoring of the OOS log to be aware of items marked as missing, damaged or out of service
- Responsible for the induction, training and development of the Warehouse team
- Support and assist senior management with technical kit procurement and EOL items sales
- Equipment handling / Kit packaging /rigging and storage
- Familiarise the teaM/Follow H&S specific to the Warehouse
- Maintain and operate all equipment according to the manufacturer’s guidelines / best practice
- Stock level checks, action new orders, report spare part levels & negotiate with suppliers based on costs, quality, deals (consumables and parts)
- Be involved in M&D search / investigations / meetings
- Demonstrate excellent customer service including supporting internal and external requests
- Supervise and participate when required with tasks such as check in / checkout / repairs / OOS flagging involvement to management, daily quality checks/supporting other departments and investigating new methods and techniques with Operations Warehouse Manager
- Demonstratable strong planning/organisational skills and attention to detail
- Min 2 years’ experience with the TV and Film industry, understanding, handling and knowledge of kit building of the equipment that we supply, storage and we use on set.
- Confidence and ability to build relationships with suppliers/ clients (Internal/external)
- The role active and requires applicants to be physically fit with the ability to remain calm under pressure whilst being a confident decision maker.
- Ability and knowledge to use different IT software’s
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Confidence to delegate tasks to team members and follow up if needed
- Common sense and initiative
- Conscientious with a positive can-do attitude
- Discretion - working in highly sensitive areas of film production
- Computer literate - strong competency with the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Apple, and the ability to learn new programs quickly
**Desirable but not essential**:
- Driving Licence
- Line management experience
- PAT Testing qualification or previous experience
- On set/location experience
- H&S or electrical qualifications
**Working Conditions**:
- 42.5 hours per week, 8.5 hours per day, working shifts within our main hours of business - 7am to 7pm - with flexibility to work outside of these hours if required
