The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for Band 7 Anatomical Pathology Technologist to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Crewe. We are looking for a Anatomical Pathology Technologist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's cellular mortuary service.

Position: Anatomical Pathology Technologist

Banding: 7

Location: Crewe

Hours: Full-time (Mon-Fri 08:00 - 16:00)

Duration: 3 months

**What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?**
As a Biomedical Scientist in Mortuary, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy able to cut over 30 blocks and hour to a high standard; alongside having experience in embedding and staining. On a day to day basis you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.

**Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position**:

- HCPC registered
- Microtomy experience
- UK NHS or private sector mortuary experience
