**Overview**
The position offers a great career development opportunity within the packaging industry, working for one of the world’s leading manufacturers SCGP in Paper and Plastic manufacturing. Go-Pak is seeing consistent growth in the UK and considerable growth internationally with an expected annual turnover of circa £96m in 2024.

**Duties**
- Answer inbound telephone calls.
- Process and acknowledge orders in the system.
- Maintain up-to-date customer SOPs and filing systems.
- Inform customers about lead times, order statuses, and any issues.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and day-to-day requests.
- Issue and share open orders, back orders, and stock reports.
- Offer alternative products when possible.
- Set up regular meetings with customers to discuss account situations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyse situations effectively and respond appropriately.
- A friendly disposition with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £26,500.00 per year
