We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our business and provide support to the Technical Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career who has an interest in Manufacturing and an eye for detail. Full training will be given and there are opportunities for progression within the business.

This is a full time role (40 hours per week) working Monday to Friday 08.30-17.30 with a one hour unpaid lunch break.

Salary is in line with National Minimum Wage / Living Wage.

**What does the role involve?**
- General Administration
- Complete material schedules using drawings submitted by customers and architects.
- Complete roof area calculations and specify rainwater systems appropriate to the roof area.
- Respond to product enquiries and supply quotes.
- Contract price support and associated price increases.
- Maintaining the monthly contract sale records.
- Assisting to maintain the company’s claims and complaints systems.
- To assist in the development of product specification documentation for customers and end users.

**About You... (What are we looking for?)**
- Problem solving - you will eventually be offering technical advice to customers and solving issues using our products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong math skills - a lot of calculations for take offs, roof area calculations etc.
- Self-motivated and ability to work alone.
- Really good attention to details, especially in relation to scientific data.

We are located on the Eurolink Business Park in Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3FP.

**Salary**: £16,761.46-£22,000.00 per year
