Production Supervisor

A leading Engineering business in Diss are looking to hire a Production Supervisor for their facility. This is a crucial role within the department, and one that will see you overseeing and managing a small team of electro-mechanical assemblers, throughmechanical, electronic and final assembly operations. You will fulfil orders on time, with accurate documentation, as well as picking and packing of finished goods inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the assembly function, ensuring conformance to the production process.
- Maintain assembly production records.
- Maintain Bill of Materials with accurate route stages.
- Perform quality assurance activities.
- Ensure kitting requirements are understood and sub-assemblies are in the correct quantity.
- Issue sub-assemblies to kits, building and labelling kits.
- Export pack customer kits.
- Experience within an Assembly or Production Leadership role.
- Automotive, Defence or Aerospace Manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical and/or Electrical Assembly skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and experience with an ERP system.
- High levels of attention to detail.
