**Commercial Assistant**

**Oxford or Nuneaton - with some remote working and UK and international travel**

**About the Job**

As Commercial Assistant you will provide comprehensive executive support to the Managing Director, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Commercial function. You will be a highly organised, proactive, and discreet person with exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will manage complex scheduling and presentations, conduct research, and be responsible for reporting and data that will aid decision making. You will act as a key liaison between the Commercial MD and all stakeholders. There is a need to be prepared for regular travel within the UK and occasional international travel. This is a development role that will introduce you to the business in its entirety, to strategy and decision-making at the highest levels and establish strong relationships with senior leaders.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll be responsible for:
**Diary and Schedule Management**
- Coordinating diary management, including, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as required
- Anticipating and resolving scheduling conflicts and prioritising appointments based on importance

**Meeting Preparation and Support**
- Increasing effectiveness by preparing comprehensive meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing materials
- Attending strategic meetings as required, and support follow-up actions to ensure these are completed
- Proactively managing logistics for meetings, including room bookings, catering, and equipment setup when required

**Reporting and Research**
- Conducting thorough research on various topics as requested by the MD, compiling and summarising findings in clear and concise reports
- Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism
- Assisting with the preparation of performance reports and presentations

**Communication and Liaison**
- Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts

**Administrative Support**
- Handling ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

**About You**
- Experience as an Executive Assistant/Project Manager/Business Partner type role at a senior management level
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Good data and financial literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
