**Job Overview**

We are seeking a Trainee Fryer to join our culinary team. As a Trainee Fryer, you will play a crucial role in the preparation of delicious meals, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining high-quality cooking practices. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for cooking and a desire to contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment. Applicants must be seeking full time, permanent work and be aged over 16yrs old, they must be willing to complete an NVQ alongside their on the job training. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in cooking who would like a well paid career in hospitality. There will be a guaranteed full time job at the end of the 12 months also a bonus payment for completion

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked thoroughly and safely.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
- Help maintain inventory levels of cooking supplies and ingredients, notifying management when stock is low.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

**Skills**:

- Experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques, with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A team player with strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals consistently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.50-£12.50 per hour
