**Overview**
We are seeking a Trainee Fryer to join our culinary team. As a Trainee Fryer, you will play a crucial role in the preparation of delicious meals, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining high-quality cooking practices. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for cooking and a desire to contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment. Applicants must be seeking full time, permanent work and be aged over 16yrs old, they must be willing to complete an NVQ alongside their on the job training. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in cooking who would like a well paid career in hospitality. There will be a guaranteed full time job at the end of the 12 months also a bonus payment for completion

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Assist in the overall food preparation process, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure that all meals are cooked to perfection.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
- Help with inventory management by reporting low stock levels of ingredients or supplies.
- Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A genuine passion for cooking and meal preparation, with a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills further.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the restaurant's operational needs.

Pay: £7.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
