We’re looking for a consumer research executive to join our data and analytics team. As our Customer Insight and Research Executive, you’ll be the voice of the consumer and a champion of Insight lead culture. Working across a variety Insight sources you will identify & convert commercial opportunities benefiting the consumer, Hallmark and our customers. Developing the tools and resources you share with the business and our retails customers, alongside being our consumer insights expert, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Supporting better decision making across the business with timely, insightful and compelling customer insights, driving change and improvements through data-backed recommendations and intelligence
- Working autonomously, you will set up, manage and decide key priority areas of qual research for all customers, Hallmark Brand and POD to drive forward business objectives.
- Research market data across multiple complex data sets (not limited to but including Tableau, Global Data, Greeting Room and external agencies) to unpick category performance and identify consumer needs and spot gaps/opportunities for Hallmark.
- Generate actionable insights & tangible strategic and tactical recommendations with commercial business impact
- Information Sharing & Checking Understanding
- regular internal & external debriefs and workshops to disseminate above, and ensure specific actions are followed up by the commercial, but the commercial, creative, product and ranging teams
- Closing the loop - implementation of test & learn research programmes for insight taken into to action in trade. Feeding back on results and driving learnings back into IDC process.
- Drive Insight Engagement - Regular face-to-face interaction with key business customers, internal squads and Insight Champions. Maintaining Self-serve areas to empower all business functions to make insight lead decisions.

Joining a small, but growing, team of experts, you’ll work with consumers, retail customers and across our squads to drive measurable benefits for UK card consumers, Hallmark and our retail customers, so you’ll need to be naturally confident at all levels and a natural story teller to bring the “so what?” to life. To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

- Significant relevant experience working at a market research agency or client-side insight team
- Wide experience and a good knowledge of customer research & insight practices (both qual and quant), techniques and operational experience
- Demonstrate skills in analytical reasoning able to draw actionable conclusions from complex data sets with the ability to spot commercial opportunities and convert them
- Tableau and Google Analytics experience
- Project management, negotiating, financial and budget management skills
- Well-developed interpersonal, presentation and communications skills with strong account management and relationship building skills
- Experience of managing a complex program of work, working across cross functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Influencing skills to change behaviours and drive engagement with Insight across the business
