This administrative level position will take responsibility for ensuring our department is compliant for both employee information and payroll administration. The HR & Payroll Administrator will be the glue to our department in ensuring all processes arecompleted accurately and timely.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- forming and maintaining employee records.
- updating databases internally, such as HR portal and Recruitment systems.
- communicating with external partners, i.e. recruitment agencies.
- coordinating recruitment processes.
- reporting regularly on HR metrics, such as staff turnover and lost hours due to absence.
- preparing of monthly payroll for both salaried and hourly paid staff.
- supporting the HR Advisors and HR manager with general employee queries.
- minute taking at HR related meetings with senior management.
- coordinating onboarding and probationary period paperwork.
- completing daily and weekly absence reporting.
- pushing the boundaries of what good HR practice looks like by creating innovative solutions, and ensuring we remain an employer of choice.
**Essential Skills**:
- Previous experience in a HR/Payroll administration role
- Knowledge of Human Resources and Employment Law
- Level 3 CIPD (desirable)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of GDPR legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
