Engineering Customer Account Manager

We are looking to recruit for an Account Manager for our successful established business to support our existing suppliers and identify any new business opportunities as they arise.
The role:
- Understand client needs and offer solutions and support; answer potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for quotes.
- Account manage and develop a small portfolio of key clients.
- Reviewing and understanding of technical drawings at a basic level.
- Maintain a pipeline of new opportunities and enquiries.
- Update all sales administration in the company CRM database
- Research the market and potential products and customers.
- Negotiate the terms of an agreements with customers.
- Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotations.
- Negotiate on price, costs, delivery, and specifications with potential buyers.
- Review your own performance, aiming to meet or exceed KPI's.
- Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
- Analysing and reporting on opportunities and threats to the business.
- Support and Input into the Marketing function of the business and collaborate with the Marketing Executive.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in Sales & Marketing, including account management.
- Experience with spreadsheets and other data collection methods
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferable but not essential.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients.
- Attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making.
The company can offer extensive training within the sales arena, career progression
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
Friday: 8am - 1pm
**Benefits**:
33 days holiday (25 holidays + 8 bank holidays)

5% pension equal contribution
Annual Bonus paid in December of around 5%
