**Role overview**:
We're on the lookout for 2 UX Researchers to join and help grow our newly formed UX Research function. We’re in the process of growing our UX team to have even greater impact across our business, so If you're passionate about diving deep into user behaviour, crunching numbers, and turning insights into actionable design strategies, you might just be the perfect fit
**About the UX team**:
We’re currently a team of 4 UX Designers and 2 UX Researchers, with a Head of Product Design & UX, working across multiple products to craft delightful experiences for our users in the Education Tech space. From sleek interfaces to intuitive workflows, we're all about making our products do the best they can for our users, and having a positive impact on the education sector. That's where you come in We’re currently undergoing a large transformation and creating a new consolidated offering of our education software product suite, and need to embed user research in the product development process, with insights galore that help shape business decisions.
**What you’ll do**:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user trends, behaviours, and pain points.
- Work closely with our design team to integrate data-driven insights into our design processes, from ideation to iteration.
- Collaborate with our other researchers to design and execute comprehensive research plans that inform both short-term decisions and long-term strategy.
- Work with our data team to deep dive into analytics data to unearth hidden gems and guide our product roadmap with actionable insights.
- Be the voice of the user in all our discussions, championing their needs and desires at every turn.
- Work with and communicate findings effectively with various departments across the business, including Product, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment on user needs and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
**What you’ll bring**:
- A keen eye for detail and a knack for spotting patterns in data, and reading between the lines to uncover fresh insights.
- Strong analytical skills and a love for all things data and numbers.
- Experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, education experience is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills (we love a workshop).
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for working closely with designers, researchers, and stakeholders.
- A self starter, pro-actively seeking opportunities and thinking outside of the box to generate insights on projects. If you have an idea, we will support it
