**Job Description**:
We’re hiring a UX Researcher to be part of our growing team that will support a global, headless platform, at scale, and work closely with designers, engineers, product, and business stakeholders to deliver the best possible user experience. This role will help shape the platform through data/insight collection as an effort to understand our users and transfer that knowledge to value for both external and internal customers.

You’ll need a strong qualitative research background, with an understanding of various quantitative research methods. You will be a strong advocate for the UX Research process and act as the voice of our users in all that we design and build.

**Responsibilities**
- Explore user behaviors and motivations, working with the UX/UI director and stakeholders to plan, launch, analyze, and report on various research initiatives
- Conduct interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, etc.
- Identify quantitative metrics that will compliment the qualitative data and add depth to your findings.
- Conduct research from early discovery, usage and needs, through product design evaluation.
- Articulate users’ needs, tasks, and goals into user stories, journey maps, and user requirements.
- Working closely with the UX/UI director, product managers and designers to ensure that your recommendations have the maximum impact.
- Work with key stakeholders including designers, other researchers, and product managers to identify objectives, goals, timelines and research execution plan.
- Work with internal division teams to help create UX solutions based on business needs.
- Synthesize research findings, uncover and articulate insights that will inform and inspire design.
- Produce research reports with clear and actionable recommendations.
- Effectively communicate research findings (including visual representations of data, highlight videos, storyboards, slide decks, etc.).
- Utilize tools and services such as A/B testing, user insight tracking, and analytics.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in HCI, UX research, cognitive science, or other relevant human disciplines, highly preferred or equivalent experience in related field
- Experience in an applied research setting, including experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design and usability.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and efficiently, exercise a balance between research rigor and inspiration.
