Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Transactional Procurement Manager on behalf of their NHS client in Derby.
About the role:

- To deliver a strategic procurement service for both internal and external customers
- Contribute significantly to the delivery of allocated procurement projects within key markets, ensuring contract compliance, sustainable cost improvements, and a range of benefits across the region
- Contribute to the achievement of targets in a challenging environment through the delivery of cost and efficiency savings, by analysing current spend across a range of customers and categories to support the development of procurement strategies
- Ensure contract compliance, and excellence through the implementation of efficient and effective procurement projects
- Influence and engage with customers and suppliers to maximise value through compliance with contracts and by actively managing the marketplace through the development of key strategies for supplier and contract management
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through regular close contact with customers, including face to face meetings
- Manage the expectations of all customers through effective communication
- Provide specialist market and procurement knowledge to customers
- Assist the Senior transactional Procurement Manager, Head of Procurement and Associate
- Director of Procurement in the delivery of the annual work plan ensuring performance to key milestones and agreed key performance indicators are achieved
