Concept Resourcing is pleased to be working once again with a NHS organisation as they look to recruit a Transactional Procurement Manager at Band 7 level. This role will be predominately remote working with a day or two on-site per month.

Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will take responsibility for:

- Use procurement knowledge and expertise to produce and implement procurement strategies for assigned customer and product/service areas and ensure that performance management systems and operating effectively to meet governance and achieve goals.
- Project manage and co-ordinate all activities, agencies, suppliers, and personnel to successfully undertake several strategic and tactical sourcing projects, from initial scoping through to contract award.
- Gather and analyse comprehensive data on products and suppliers to support portfolio and category analysis.
- Manage high value strategic sourcing projects for both internal and external customers.
- Establish the immediate and future procurement requirements of customer organisations and produce strategies and solutions to these.
- Manage procurement exercises on behalf of customers in compliance with European Procurement Legislation, utilising where appropriate National Framework Agreements.
- Identification and management of risk throughout the procurement process.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to deliver procurement solutions to stakeholder organisations.
- Undertake contract management reviews to monitor contract compliance.
- Ensure that contracts deliver against agreed strategies and continue to meet customer requirements
- Maintain effective supplier and provider partnership and relationship strategies.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Previous Procurement experience within a Public Sector or Not for Profit organisation
- Sound knowledge of PCR2015 or OJEU contracts
- Strong communication skills including ability to negotiate with suppliers
- Able to demonstrate cost savings and value add service to internal stakeholders
- Supplier Management and Performance reviews
- Able to travel to Derby location on a monthly basis.

Salary for the Band 7 role is £41,659 plus benefits.
