Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a **Band 7 Transactional Procurement Manager**to work within the NHS in Derby (Mainly remote working with 1 - 2 days per month in the office).**Permanent Position**

Salary - From £38,890.00 - £41,659.00 per annum

**_About the role:_**
- Deliver a strategic procurement service for both internal and external customers and contributes significantly to the delivery of allocated procurement projects within key markets, ensuring contract compliance, sustainable cost improvements, and a rangeof benefits across the region.
- Contribute to the achievement of targets in a challenging environment through the delivery of cost and efficiency savings by analysing current spend across a range of customer and categories to support the development of procurement strategies.
- Influence and engage with customers and suppliers to maximise value through compliance with contracts and by actively managing the marketplace through the development of key strategies for supplier and contract management.
- Use procurement knowledge and expertise to produce and implement procurement strategies for assigned customer and product/service areas and ensure that performance management systems and operating effectively to meet governance and achieve goals.

**_About You:_**
- Category knowledge of market areas related to specific work categories, including where applicable manufacturing and product knowledge and supply chain
- Experience running procurements under OJEU, Find and Tender Service & Frameworks
