2x Claims Handler

Location: Stockport (fully office based)

**Salary**: £20-22k doe

Contract: Perm

Hours: Mon-Fri (09:00-17:00)

Job Spec:

- A good understanding of the operational practices and of the basic legal workings of the motor claims/credit hire industry
- The ability to process motor claims from cradle to grave, FNOL, Monitoring & Recoveries
- A sound knowledge of case law relating to RTA's and progression of claims to litigation.
- Able to self-manage, set priorities and retain control
- Capable of everyday use of modern computer and web systems
- Able to produce and present regular performance reports
- A good team player with an abundance of initiative

Person Spec:

- Experience working in a similar insurer/claims management environment
- Ideally, experience of using the Proclaim Case Management system
