Claims Handler
Location: Manchester

**Salary**: 20k-22k
Permanent Contract.

**Job Specification**:

- Demonstrate an understanding of client needs and expectations whilst effectively prioritising and adhering to client SLA's.
- Ensure effective time management to comply with internal targets.
- Create and maintain accurate Claims Management records.
- Communicate with the client, to ensure they are kept fully informed, as to the progress of the claim and to the costs and reserve position.
- Guide the client on how to proceed in claims in accordance with UK law.

**Person Specification**:

- Strong understanding of the operational practices and of the basic legal workings of the motor claims/credit hire industry.
- Able to process motor claims from start to end FNOL, Monitoring & Recoveries.
- Knowledge of case law relating to RTA's and progression of claims to litigation.
- Able to self-manage, set priorities and retain control.
- Excellent Microsoft Office and general system knowledge.
- Able to produce and present regular performance reports.
- A good team player with an abundance of initiative.
- Great communication.
